2 years on the books

The last 2 years have been crazy, to say the least. With a global pandemic, a huge pivot from in-person to online, and numerous challenges other families faced, we have come a long way. In March of 2020, we all thought “2 weeks, and it all be over”. We all know how the story played out though, 2 weeks, then 2 months, who knew it would be 2 years. In June of 2020, we started discussing the idea of a virtual program. In July of 2020, we broke out the whiteboards and started designing a preschool for the virtual age, and we launched MIghty Kids Virtual Academy with the intent of Preschool.

We built, we learned, and we grew, and we are so thankful for all the families who entrusted their children to our program.

Along our journey, we were voted Hulafrog’s Most Loved Virtual Preschool Program in 2021 and 2022. We were also finalists in the EdTech Cool Tool Award for Personalized Learning Solution. We couldn’t have done any of this without the support of our amazing families that use our platform every day.

Today you will notice we are shifting our branding away from mightykidspreschool.com to mightykidsvirtualacademy.com as we shift our focus not just on preschool. As part of the change, we have some new paint on the website, some more helpful resources, and info, and we have been working on expanding our program features. We are excited about the direction we are headed and looking forwards to serving more families in the future.

We look forward to another great year in EdTech. Stay tuned for some exciting new features and functionality that we have in store for the upcoming year.
